Our clinic is located at our house within the village of Baslow, please park on the driveway outside. Look out for the blackboard with our name on and two ladybirds on the wall to attract attention.

Our clinic has its own entrance and small waiting room. Please come to the side of the building when you arrive and take a seat.

We have toilet facilities on site for you to use if required.

Getting to Baslow Physiotherapy didn’t take me long from where I live in Chesterfield. Directions were clear and the A frame board was really helpful on the driveway. The treatment room shows a high level of professionalism and facilities were clean and modern.

How to reach us

We are based centrally within the village of Baslow. Walk up the hill from Nether End with Il Lupo, the Italian restaurant, on your left. After roughly 300m you'll find our clinic on the left-hand side of the road.

There are handrails for step access and a sloped entrance with three small steps to access the building.

There are bus services that stop at ‘Nether End, Baslow’ from Sheffield (the 218 and 57) and Chesterfield (the 170).

Follow the directions above once you have got off the bus.

Follow satnav directions for the postcode DE45 1SB, taking the main road from Sheffield (A621) or Chesterfield (A619).

We have accessible parking outside the clinic for up to 4 cars.

FAQs for Baslow Physiotherapy Clinic

At Baslow Physiotherapy we use joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, exercise therapy, acupuncture and an abundance of advice and information to optimise return to function.

Back pain can occur during pregnancy or after having a baby, during sport or simply by making the bed – we have the right treatment to ease your pain. We are based in the Peak District and often see lots of runners, walkers, climbers and golfers, helping them return to their chosen activity.

Our magical hands!

The assessment will involve asking questions to ascertain what structures and factors may be contributing to your back pain. Followed by a hands on assessment of movement and feeling the tissues of the spine. The treatment options available include spinal mobilisation, deep tissue massage, acupuncture and exercises and advice.

At Baslow Physiotherapy we offer a variety of treatment packages to solve your problem. Individual appointments vary from £50-80 per session.

We do also work with some insurance companies.

At Baslow Physiotherapy we have off-street parking and easy access to the building. We have a very comfortable clinic room and toilet facilities on site.

Sarah and Guy Titman both work at Baslow Physiotherapy as directors and owners of the clinic. They have complimentary skills in Pelvic Health and Sports Physiotherapy.

Sarah Titman treats pelvic and women’s health related issues such as pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy pain and back pain after pregnancy.

Guy Titman specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries. This includes Achilles tendon pain, tennis elbow, back and neck pain, knee pain and joint problems.
